madeleine kolev on competition prep
We caught up with Nutrabolics Athlete Madeleine Kolev and asked about her prep for the upcoming OPA Provincial Championships;
"My prep is going great compared to my last one, since I had the opportunity to take 1 month off from training and dieting. This allowed my body and mind to have complete rest and recooperation compared to taking 1 week off in the past. I'm full of energy, my mood is good, and I'm excited to train every day. Currently I'm using Hemotropin at night which helps with sleep quality, fat burning, alertness in the morning and muscle growth. I'm taking Isobolic Banana which I love, it tastes so good! I have stopped using all artificial sweeteners, which I have noticed make me hold water. I weight train 5 days per week and 3 cardio sessions of 25 min, with 1 rest day for recovery. I'm on track and looking forward to the competition!"
Madeleine entered the 2012 Toronto Inside Fitness Model Search and won 1st place. She has since then competed at the 2013 GNC Live Well Toronto Championships, placing 2nd and qualifying her for the upcoming OPA Provincials.
